Hoeny came into my life the summer of 2005. I traded my saddle horse for her. I had a Palomino a long time ago and wanted to have one agian. So I traded my 11 year old saddle horse for this little mustang mare breed to a quarter horse stallion for a palomino baby. She was a bit thin and her feet were a little ragged. She also had some attitude issues with being caught and having to come away from the other horses. She is young about three. I was told she was out of a red roan mare that was a mustang. I could not substanciate that though.
She has nice Morgan gaits and is a bit skittish. The lady I got her from she had started be hard to catch for so had become a problem to work with. I like her a lot and she is pretty good about being handled. She is pretty green about being ridden but does not try to do anything wrong.
She looks like she is finally bagging up so I am looking for a foal one of these days soon. She is due this month or next month.
